I am currently relocating back to Hawaii from Seattle. I was born and raised on the island of Oahu and have decided its time to move back, this time with my family. It can be very nerve racking trying to buy a house while out of state, so I decided it would be best to make a quick trip to Oahu to  get in touch with local realtors in person. I decided to start at an open house down the street from where I grew up. This is where I met Alesia. It took less than five minutes for me to decide to go with Alesia. She is extremely approachable and easy to work with; which is very important to me because I will be buying from out of state. I was also extremely impressed with her local knowledge of current listings and areas that would be suitable to raise a family. She is extremely easy to get in touch with and returns emails fast. I cannot begin to express how much pressure has been lifted off my shoulders working with Alesia. I would recommend without a doubt in the future.

I was referred to Alesia Barnes earlier the year, shortly after I received a follow up call from Alesia. I explained to him we weren’t planning to go to Hawaii until the end of August. We kept in touch over the next few month, back and forth with what we were looking for in our  ultimate second home.  We finally met up and she had a list of properties in the price range we were looking for, we found Alesia not only very friendly, but extremely professional. She is very familiar with the areas we wanted, never pushing us to settle, it was more than just a sale for him even though we didn’t see anything the first day.  We planned to meet in a couple of days, thinking our budget may not be up to what is needed for what we were looking for, we had Alesia just show us not only properties in our price range but some higher than what we are interested in paying.

When we got to lunch, Alesia pulled out her laptop and said let’s search one more time.  There it was just came on the market hours earlier the picture showing just what we wanted.  He contacted the seller’s agent and off we went later that afternoon to look at the Condo, we found our home! She made it happen and we closed escrow less than 30 days from California and everything was done thought the technology of internet, we did not have to do one thing out of our normal day to compete the purchase, I would recommend Alesia and Barnes Hawaii to anyone wanting to live the dream of Hawaii.  I must also put a shout out to everyone in Alesia’s office for their professionalism with the contract and escrow.

Chelsey knows the island area very well and is impressively knowledgeable regarding the home buying  process. She reviewed my final loan document and contacted my loan officer a out some numbers i was unsure of. Her turn around time was under an hour. She showed up to all appointments with me including  the title signing and purchase agreement.

I don’t like to do reviews, but since my realtor did an AMAZING job, this is the best i can do for her..It was SUCH a pleasure to work with Chelsey (Chelz) Doria. She is a very kind person, helping us on and off the clock showed us how dedication she was to get the house that we were looking for  and not a house to buy quick. My husband was deployed during this house buying process so she would sitting down and taking the time to see what my husband and I wanted individually for a house and it took her no time in finding the ones she felt would suit us as a “growing” family. We didn’t get the pressure with her to get a home which wasn’t the right one for us. She always was trying to be sure that we were buying “our house”. Once we found it, she took care of EVERY single detail with the seller’s Realtor to complete all paperwork, inspections and any requests to the sellers. She’s very meticulous about the paperwork so that there are no hiccups. We were ahead of schedule because this women’s turn around time is FAST. We are enjoying our house and we have only a big thanks to her because she was on our side at all times and we got “our house”. She even woke up early on a work day after we had closed on the house to help me around the house. She became more than just my realtor, she became a very good friend. THANKS CHELZ
